Plum Tangerine Sangria Recipe
Plums provide 10% of your daily vitamin C and taste wonderful as well. They are perfect in this red wine sangria recipe. Adding in tangerine liqueur gives the sangria a kick of citrus and extra sweetness. If you cannot find tangerine liqueur, substitute in one of the orange liqueurs - Grand Marnier, Triple Sec or Cointreau.
For the red wine, something soft works best here. I did my recipe with Malbec and it was quite tasty! Chianti and Shiraz are other traditional favorites for Sangria.
Ingredients
1/2 plum, cut into small slices
1 oz Tangerine liqueur
1 glass red wine
Chill the plum and red wine beforehand. Put the plum pieces into a wine glass. Add in the tangerine liqueur. Fill up with red wine.
Enjoy!
To turn this into a party sangria recipe, there are usually four large glasses of wine in a 750ml bottle of wine. Simply multiply all ingredients by four and use a full bottle of wine in a large pitcher or bowl.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
