Pluot Python Sangria Recipe
Talk about an intriguing set of flavors in this one! You begin with the pluot, a bizarre cross of plum and apricot with a delicious, tangy flavor. Add into that some elderflower liqueur, which always reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Plus some raspberries for good measure. A delightful concoction that is sure to amaze your friends.
Ingredients
1oz elderflower liqueur
pluot
raspberries
1 glass white wine
You'll probably have to plan ahead for this one - most people don't have pluots and elderflower liqueur lying around their house. Put the elderflower liqueur into a glass. Add in a handful of raspberries and some slices of pluot. If you have some frozen raspberries, those become great ice cubes that won't melt to dilute your drink. Fill up with the white wine, and enjoy!
To turn this into a party sangria recipe, there are usually four large glasses of wine in a 750ml bottle of wine. Simply multiply all ingredients by four and use a full bottle of wine in a large pitcher or bowl.

Note: I created these sangria recipes and have had them online for years. If you find similar sangria recipes elsewhere, it's because someone copied my idea. I do appreciate it when visitors write in to warn me about the plagiarism - but usually there's not much I can do about it! What's really funny is when they copy my design right down to my sangria pitcher. That's a bit much :)
